To satisfy the needs expressed by the restoration market, IL PALAGIO wanted to add character to the surfaces of the tiles, packed rigorously by hand, with the addition of natural inert materials. A lime capable of interacting with clay that, skilfully measured, enhances the chromatic expressions of the finished product and gives it a “lived in” look, even more authentic in the semi-polished version.
